Macroscopic Laws and Dynamical Systems is a five years European research program in the fields of Mathematics and non-equilibrium Statistical Mechanics. The program started the first of April 2010. It is financed by the
European Research Council Advanced Investigator Grant MALADY (246953).
The goal of the project is to further the understanding of how phenomenological macroscopic laws (e.g. fluid dynamics, heat equation, ….) emerge from a, more fundamental, microscopic description of the world.
